Six Minutes - Short Film
I can contemplate for six minutes
Six minutes is all it takes
With each and every breath
I can remember
These are my six minutes
I can fill myself with the thought of you
Your hair
Your smile
The way you whispered in my ear
Our very own secrets
Tainted with the sting of cyanide
I can contemplate for six minutes
The amount of times I regretted
The way I had lied for a lifetime
Until it all stopped
In one fleeting moment
Shaking hands
Swallowing my fear
The words I typed
Six minutes is all it takes
I can contemplate for six minutes
What my life will be
What my real life will be
What my life will be without you
But with someone else
I can contemplate for six minutes
Until it’s over
But I,
I will always remember those six minutes
